Cricut World is up!!!!

This is the canister set that I posted on the new blog tonight. We have 8 ladies that are experienced scrappers participating. My project is a glass etching canister set. I used vinyl to cut the stencil out on my Cricut. I used "From my Kitchen" cartridge. After you have the stencil applied, brush on the etching cream according the bottle directions. Wash them well when you are finished. I used hot glue to put the ceramic cabinet knobs on the lids. The hardest thing is wrapping your head around the idea that you use the negative cut of the stencil and not what you would normally use on your LO's. The jars were purchased at HL and were super cheap. Hope you enjoy this project - Be sure to check out the Cricut World blog - hhtp://cricutworld.blogspot.com/ We are looking for comments - thanks.

Still have tons of snow!!! It is going to be weeks before it all melts - bad thing is that it is too cold for the kids to get out and for me to take a bunch of snow fun pictures. I will have to get some before it is gone so I can document the "Blizzard of 2011." I have a big fluffy white cat and I would love to set her out there and take a picture. Her little princess feet have never touched dirt or snow before, so she would probably freak out. It would be interesting to see how her bright blue eyes would show up in the snow. Still thinking about it! One more day until the Cricut World blog is on line. At midnight tomorrow night I will give out the link.

What is with this snow?? We have 21 inches here in Collinsville. Never in my life have I seen this much snow and such high drifts. I spent time in Russia in February and it didn't seem nearly so bad. The wind doesn't blow there like it does here and they are used to it. Oh well, hope everyone is staying warm - going to go throw another log on the fire.......
